Keto Sesame Cracker

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup  almond flour
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds (white or black)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan  cheese (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1-2 tablespoons water (as needed)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, sesame seeds, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg and olive oil. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until combined. If the dough is too crumbly, add water, one tablespoon at a time, until it holds together.
  4. Roll Out the Dough: Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out to about 1/8 inch thick. Remove the top sheet of parchment.
  5. Cut into Shapes: Use a pizza cutter or a knife to cut the dough into squares or rectangles.
  6. Bake: Transfer the parchment with the cut crackers to the baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Cool: Let the crackers cool completely on the baking sheet. They will crisp up as they cool.
  8. Store: Once cooled, store the crackers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
