Ingredients:

 

For the  Dough:

 

    • 2 cups almond  flour

 

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)

 

  • 2 oz cream cheese

 

  • 2 large eggs

 

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

 

  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional, for flavor)

 

  • 1 tsp salt

 

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

For the Egg Wash:

 

    • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions:

 

    1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
    1. Melt Cheese: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
    2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
    3. Combine Ingredients: Add the melted cheese mixture and eggs to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, you can add a bit more almond flour until manageable.
    4. Shape the Dough: Divide the dough into small balls (about the size of a golf ball). Roll them gently and place them in the prepared loaf pan.
    5. Prepare Egg Wash: In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water. Brush the egg wash over the top of the dough balls.
    6. Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  1. Cool and Serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack. Pull apart the pieces to serve!

 

Tips:

 

  • Serve warm with butter, or use it for sandwiches.

 

  • You can add herbs or spices to the dough for extra flavor!
